NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS                                                                                                                                 FOR FALL OF 2012

 
Heart to Hearts PIP is a non-profit, parent participation co-operative preschool in Scotts Valley California.  We are affiliated with Calvary Chapel Children's Center.   We are located at 127 Vine Hill School Rd. Siltanen Park in Scotts Valley California.  Heart to Hearts PIP is operated and maintained by its members, which provides an excellent program at a moderate cost. Under the guidance of a Teacher Director, parents participate in operating this non-profit for the benefit of their young children. 
 
Heart to Hearts PIP provides specialized programs for  pre-school children, along with daytime parent education.
 
Families share in the preschool experience, gain valuable parenting skills and develop a parental support group. The efforts of parents and their direct involvement during the school day make this parent participation preschool a unique educational endeavor and provide an essential support group for growing families.

Some of the requirements at  HTHPIP are:

  • Participate one day per week (workday).
  • Attend parent education classes on workday.
  • Approximately once a month (on a non-workday) supervise children as a “lunch duty” parent while others attend parent education.
  • Other additional participation requirements are stated in the Heart to Hearts Parent Handbook

Sprouts: 3-year olds
Tues & Thurs., (9:00 –11:45)

Schedule of Daily Activities 

 

9:00-10:30  Learning centers: painting, crafts, manipulatives

10:30-10:45 Circle time:  discuss weekly theme, calendar, music,  Bible stories on Thursdays and Fridays

10:45-10:55 Snack

10:55-11:20 Outside play

11:20-11:45 Group activities: Stories, music and movement, sharing

12:00-1:00  Lunch: Parenting class, outside or inside play
